Weeee!
It's Wednesday the 5th, the work day is about over.. and we are now less then 20 hours to departure.
Needless to say... neither Nancy or I will sleep well tonight. In fact.. ever since TA/CA day on March 27, a full nights sleep just is not in the cards for us any more. Just too excited about Gotcha Day! Night time has become more of a series of naps, followed by some reading or TV until falling asleep for the next nap. Excited!... that's it.... and yet the word can't really state the feeling fairly either.
Over the next few days, all 9 families will be making their way to Shanghai. It will be really fun to finally get to meet everyone face to face as we prepare for the short trip to Changsha by air. I can just imagine what sleep (or lack thereof) will be like on Sunday night!
We have a 15x20 inch enlarged photo of Emily (from her referral picture) on our bedroom wall these days. As one on-line friend has reminded me several times over the last month, I need to spend some quality time admiring Emilys little fingers, because those are what she will be busily wrapping me around very soon :) That does not help with the sleep thing at all, but it is definitely fun to do.
This will be our last blog post until we are in-country in China. Wishing safe travels and arrivals for all our companion families traveling with us to pick-up their baby girls too!! See you all in Shanghai!!
Cheers!
